Fit Cuffs® BFR Unit | Semi-Adjust Pressure | Explained

Understanding Semi-Adjust Pressure: A Breakdown

⚠️ This function operates similarly to Auto-adjust Pressure, yet it differs in that the BFR Unit won’t autonomously adjust pressure.

📴 The BFR Unit monitors actual pressure but refrains from automatic adjustments during training sessions, adhering to the inital “Set Pressure”.

👆🤳 However, by pressing either “+” or “-“, the BFR Unit will promptly adjust or return the actual pressure to the designated Set Pressure as originally intended.

👉👉👉🤳 Subsequent and fast repeated presses of “+” or “-” will respectively increase or decrease both the Set Pressure and the Actual pressure.

📲 This feature seamlessly operates during Intervals; following deflation, the BFR Unit will inflate the cuff to the orignal Set Pressure.

❓️ Why might this serve as a viable alternative to Auto-adjust pressure?

🔋 1. Notably, this feature demands less power, extending the user’s training duration before needing a BFR Unit recharge.

🔛 2. This feature allows you to operate a pair of cuffs as you simply just switches the connected cuff and press “+” to regulate the pressure.

📚🔍 3. Nerd Alert; As previously discussed, concerns may arise with auto-regulation features due to rapid muscle contractions potentially disrupting inflation timing, resulting in brief periods where pressure falls below the Set Pressure. This occurrence theoretically prompts short intervals of inter-set reperfusion, especially when pressures dip below 30-40% of LOP. However, this concern primarily arises when utilizing lower pressures (below 50% LOP) combined with swift repetition execution.”

⁉️ However, it’s important to highlight that studies have shown a decrease in blood flow during muscle contractions because of heightened intramuscular pressure. Thus, it’s essential to delve into whether significant reperfusion happens and its potential impact, if any, on BFR Training.
