How to Use the BFR Unit📟 as a Standard Pressure Gauge🫴⏲️
🎯 Master your BFR Training with the Quick Inflation Mode!
Pressure Calibration – For proper fitting cuffs and to evade pressure variance between sets remember to “calibrate” the pressure…
Follow the guide on the BFR Unit as it helps you Calibrate the “interface pressure” to the actual target pressure.
Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Adjust your Target Pressure by Pressing “SET”📲
2️⃣ Press “START” and watch as the BFR Unit hits that pressure🪫➡️🔋
3️⃣Contract & relax the corresponding muscles several times💪
4️⃣ Now completely relax/rest and let the BFR Unit fine-tune the pressure.🛌
– This fine-tuned pressure should be meassured by resting the corresponding limb. Place the weight on the opposite leg or resting the corresponding arm, respectively.💡
Efficiency meets precision for maximum gains! 💥
📰 “When the manual cuff was inflated to similar relative pressures, the interface pressure was 20 ± 10 mm Hg and 37 ± 13 mm Hg lower than the set pressure. Thus, despite personalizing the pressure to %AOP, the amount of applied pressure to the limb varied significantly between devices and may influence both acute (e.g., repetitions to failure, cardiovascular and/or perceptual experience) and longitudinal (e.g., muscle hypertrophy, muscle strength and/or vascular adaptations) outcomes.”
